Contents are an undated typescript paper entitled "The War of Secession West of the Mississippi River during the years 1863, 1864 and 1865" by Major General John G. Walker; photocopies of genealogy and letters of John G. Walker of the Regiment of Mounted Rifles (1801-1861); photocopies of a typed document entitled "The Walker Family Letters, Bring the Letters" written by or to Judge David Walker, or Exchanged by Members of the Walker Family from 1830 to 1880"; photocopy of typed publication entitled "The life and letters of Judge David Walker of Fayetteville, Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, 1848-1857, 1866-1868, 1874-1878"; handwritten and typed letters of Willis Porter Corwin, U.S. Naval Communication Service (1917 and undated); personal account of WWII service in the Philippines by George David Couch, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
